SP-2000W is a 100% solids TRUE amine cured novolac epoxy, not a solvent based epoxy product. Therefore there are no VOC's, no fillers added, and it is ANSI / NSF-61 certified for use with potable water.
In independent tests, SP-2000W outperformed 6 other lining materials in the categories of chemical resistance, wear resistance, and resistance to impact and heat.

Fabrication of the pipe is done before the lining process to assure ultimate lining integrity.
SP-2000W can be tested for holidays at 7500 volts versus a recommended maximum of 2500 volts by the competition. SP-2000W is the only ceramic epoxy protective coating that can be spark tested to the standards set forth by ASTM D 5162-01, NACE RP0188-99 and the SSPC Manual Volume 1, Paragraph XIV. As stated in their literature, other ceramic epoxies will not withstand the high voltages required by these standards.
