Effective October 1, 2007

Fast Fabricators will provide all flanged ductile iron pipe 14” and above with a FULL FACE or Ring FLANGE-TYTE® GASKET (SBR)*. These gaskets are designed specifically for the surface of ductile iron. Due to the unique sealing capabilities of the Flange-Tyte Gasket, Fast Fabricators requires their use in installation of flanges 14" and above to validate our warranty.

Flanged piping should be properly supported during installation and never lifted after assembly to fittings, valves, pumps or other equipment.

Flanges should also be torqued in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations in an alternating pattern.
